Does Chinese Dragon Exist?
One of the creatures in Chinese mythology and tradition is the dragon. In contrast to the enormous dragons found in the West, the Chinese dragon is a symbol of dignity, has a commanding presence, and has amazing powers! Do animals like dragons actually exist, though? Legends are just that—legends. Or what animal will serve as its prototype?
Myths and tales are often seen as people's awe of the unknowable, and the concepts they depict can always be found in the real world. This is also true. Numerous bizarre mythological gods and creatures have been compared to actual natural events and species.
However, not every myth or tale has a real-life counterpart. For instance, we can't tell if a dragon-like creature is the same as its precursor in real life! Furthermore, the presence of dragons defies the rules of physics as they exist now, regardless of the perspective!
Dragon's Flight Mystery
The Chinese dragon lacks wings, in contrast to the enormous dragons of Western mythology. From a biological perspective, no species on Earth can fly—at least, not all organisms have wings. Nevertheless, we are aware that the Chinese dragon defies the rules of physics by being able to soar over the nine heavens while riding the clouds and the fog.
Naturally, some believe that the rules of physics are not broken by dragons' capacity to fly. According to current physics, dragons can fly in at least three ways.
The first technique is floating. A monster like a dragon can float entirely in the air, much like the hydrogen balloons we frequently see if its mass is tiny and its size is enormous. However, explaining the dragon's exceptional speed and agility is challenging.
Gliding is the second technique. The dragon may soar through the air because its volume is fully utilized as a paraglider, much like a paraglider can glide through the air! This kind of statement is not advised because the dragon cannot always fly to a very high area, which is ridiculous, and the gliding assumption is to have a suitable height.
The third technique is using antigravity. We know that the Earth's gravity is the reason why an item is unable to fly. Naturally, it will be able to soar in the sky if it can defy gravity. However, antigravity is more than just a theoretical concept. Manufacturing antigravity devices is still unachievable with human technology as it is now. Is it feasible for animals like dragons to develop antigravity abilities independently? This seems implausible.
Dragon's ability to call wind and rain
The mythical dragon not only has the capacity to fly but can also summon rain and wind! Science is unable to explain this category either.
Legend has it that dragons have the ability to manipulate rainfall. Dragons will create black clouds in the sky whenever it needs rain, and the rain will quickly fall. They even have flexible control over how much rain falls. From a scientific perspective, this is amazing!
You should be aware that even though we can already create artificial rain, there are still requirements. Artificial rainfall cannot be successful if the air moisture content does not reach a specific threshold. However, this premise is broken by the dragon's request for wind and rain, as though they could create rain out of thin air.
Some even believe that the dragon's capacity to summon wind and rain is due to its being an extraterrestrial aircraft and that its rain-making capabilities are identical to our artificial rain. However, it is clear that the dragon's capacity to produce rain is omnipotent, and manufactured rainfall is not.
Where does the dragon live
The dragon's home is the most crucial aspect of the dragon's secret. Where will it reside?
Legend has it that dragons are marine animals. They have the power to summon rain and wind since they control all of the world's seas.
However, given its form, why does the dragon have feet while it dwells in the water? It appears that no one's feet in the water are useful!
It is also clear that the dragon is a lung-dependent creature, but how can a lung-dependent creature exist in water? The dragon also lacks the traits of a fish. Changing your breath is the obvious solution! The issue is the lack of pertinent documentation indicating that dragons can breathe in water, which is irrational.
If the myths and stories are untrue, documents exist that show that dragons do, in fact, reside on land, such as in certain isolated forests. Even though human satellites can now see practically every part of the planet, there is still no word of dragons, which at least indicates that there aren't any on land.
Imagine if there were a creature that, whether it lived on land or in the ocean, had different talents that defied the rules of physics and whose appearance did not fit the theory of evolution at all. Is it possible to find authentic prototypes? This is not possible!
Thus, the dragon can only be a mythological monster, a fantastical animal that early people created out of their wonder at nature. It is impossible that such a creature will ever exist!
